Every GEMIA commission follows a private, guided pathway from initial discovery through to certified delivery.
Every bespoke commission begins with understanding. We explore your style direction, the occasion, the recipient, preferred materials, and the emotional signature you want the piece to carry — whether that's quiet restraint, bold statement, or generational heirloom.
With direction set, we curate the material palette. Our gemologist sources stones from certified partner mines — Colombian emeralds, Kashmiri sapphires, Argyle pinks, old-cut diamonds. Each is graded, photographed, and presented with full provenance before selection.
Once materials are shortlisted, a GEMIA specialist arranges a private introduction — in person at our London offices, or via secure video for international clients. The session presents stones and design concepts, addresses questions on provenance, valuation and timeline, and arrives at a confirmed commission brief.
With brief confirmed, our master craftspeople begin. Each commission passes through CAD design approval, casting, stone-setting, quality assurance and final hallmarking. Delivery is accompanied by a full certification dossier, blockchain provenance record and, where applicable, xVAULT storage arrangement.
